Rozanes August 30th (1997) e-mail interview with Robert Fuller
I was born in Troy, NY on July 29th. Grew up in Key West Florida, I attended Miami Military Academy. After graduating school I moved to Hollywood with my parents who were both dancers. I served in the Army during the Korean conflict and came back to Hollywood where I joined Richard Boone's acting class and Dick convinced me to go to NY and study with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse.
As for favorite memories of Emergency; there were too many to choose one or even ten. It was a wonderful time in my life, the cast and crew were terrific to work with. We had a lot of fun on the show and got our jobs done on time.
I started out as a stuntman and dancer and was picked to say a line in Friendly Persuasion by the director. I always wanted to be in show business and with the help of my best buddy, Chuck Courtney, who was an actor then, he helped get me my first starring role in a movie called Teenage Thunder. It was a break for me and since Chuck had the pull at the time to get the director, Paul Helmick, use me for the bad guy and not another actor he really wanted, it was the gateway to many other roles which lead to Laramie series and so on and so forth.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
Mr. Fuller has also been seen on episodes of Viper ("The Homecoming"), Diagnosis Murder, and Walker, Texas Ranger.
